Teachers inspire a child and will change a life...If you inspire a life, you change the world

Joseph Clayton Zoller, a native of Port Washington and resident of Manhasset, died prematurely and tragically on November 5, 2004 at the age of 39. He was a devoted husband to Amy Dawson Zoller, a loving son to Richard and Judy Zoller, a dear brother to Richard Zoller and a cherished friend of many.

It is in Joe’s loving memory that the Joseph C. Zoller Memorial Fund, Inc.  has been established to provide scholarships to teachers in the Graduate School of Education  at Fordham University, Joe’s alma mater. We hope that you can help us honor Joe by supporting teachers who will inspire the next generation of students.

We honor and remember the lives and legacies of Richard and Judy Zoller in a special way. Richard and Judy’s devotion to the Foundation and its commitment to furthering education will continue to live on through the gift of an enduring scholarship to deserving students at Fordham’s Graduate School of Education, continuing to inspire the teachers of tomorrow.

“I wouldn’t be in this classroom if I hadn’t received the Joseph C. Zoller scholarship,” she said. “What’s unique about that scholarship is that it’s a community of teachers, so there were teachers who were really interested in my development and offered tips and tricks about being in the classroom all day, every day.”
